Hot off the truck: Gears of War Action Figure Set

Fans of Gears of War will want to get this hot off the truck Gears of War action figure set from Entertainment Earth right away.

From one of the biggest hits on the Xbox 360, these articulated figures come individually packaged with weapons and details taken straight from the game. Each is ready to shoot at his enemies (which might make them even angrier because, as toys, their firearms don’t actually have the ability to frag anybody). This set contains all 4 characters for $64.99.

Entertainment Earth operates a 90-day no hassle return service in case you decide you don’t want them after all… not that that is very likely.

Update: A film adaptation of Gears of War is in the works, to be directed by Len Wiseman, who directed “Live Free or Die Hard” and scripted by Chris Morgan, who wrote the screenplays for “Wanted” and “The Fast and the Furious 4.”

“Disney made a great movie out of a theme park ride, and somebody is sooner or later going to make a great one out of a video game,” Cliff Bleszinski, the “Gears” design director at Epic said. “Having someone like Len really helps the odds. I think we’re going to create something special here.”

I read several â€œgood blogsâ€ everyday (The Big Picture is among them). What I find is that when you click on the people who tend to be the most critical and who are downright rude, you find that these people have neither a website, nor a blog of their own, just some generic email account.

I’ve not come across that flavor of linux. I use Ubuntu, which is very easy and has a great forum where solutions to any problems users have can be found. If you can’t get it to work with your distro, suggest you swap to Ubuntu, and then you can get help at http://ubuntuforums.org/

This type of surgery cannot be made in Ukraine, therefore, Olga’s parents brought a girl to Israel. Olga is hospitalized in “Hadassah” hospital (Jerusalem) and is staying there since December 2008. During these 3 month girl has been prepared for surgery – getting chemotherapy and waited for remission. But in addition to cancer, it was discovered that Olga’s lungs are infected with fungus, which makes the treatment more complicated.
