Halo Wars is due out on 3 March. Ensemble and Microsoft are keeping details under wraps until February 20. A privileged few have had access to the game, and a hands-on review has just been posted by Lazy Gamer.

There are also a couple of video trailers, if you haven’t seen them already, on the Amazon products pages, both the Halo Wars standard edition and Halo Wars Limited. Amazon are offering the code for an in-game Warthog vehicle with flame decals with pre-orders of either version.

Worrying rumors are surfacing that the latest dashboard update – meant to fix HDMI sound issues – is causing some Xbox consoles to RROD. Several reports of Xboxes going into RROD either immediately after the update, or very shortly afterwards. This problem just doesn’t seem to go away, does it? Sure, it could be coincidence, but it just highlights the fact that the Xbox is the console most likely to collapse on you. You can bet that MS will be working hard behind the scenes to work out a fix, if there is one. Source

The best way to help protect your Xbox from this fate is to improve the cooling. There are plenty of options to choose from, the Intercooler TS from Nyko for $19.99, Epcon’s Xbox 360 Cooling Station for $29.99 or their Elite Cooling Station for only $17.99 to name just three.

Proving that messing with the Godfather is bad news, Paramount Pictures has just settled with Mario Puza’s estate for an undisclosed sum over voice acting included in The Godfather: The Game, by many of the film’s original cast. Source
