Microsoft will be publishing Ninja Gaiden 2 designed by Tomonobu Itagaki, exclusive to Xbox 360, on June 6 for both EU and US, with a playable demo due on XBL in May. New weapons, auto-healing at save points and new obliteration techniques will be included in this sequel to Ninja Gaiden Sigma.
GTA IV is due for release in a few days, but an Xbox 360 pirate is already available for download, by all accounts. According to analyst Jesse Divnich, the Xbox version is set to sell twice as many as the PS3 version, although according to Rockstar, there is very little difference between the two, the PS3 version being “warmer” and the Xbox “more clinical” in look. “Both have plusses and minuses,” he said. “As far as I’m concerned, they’re neck and neck now.”
Meanwhile, the award for most pointless game release of the decade must go to Monopoly, which is going cross-platform this autumn (fall): Xbox, PS2, Wii, mobile phones and pogo.com, yawn. Perhaps slightly more interesting (or maybe not) is EA’s announcement of a Scrabble game for later this year.

McFarlane Toys has released a new free Halo 3 theme for Xbox 360, available from Xbox Live now. There’s a also a picture pack featuring models from the upcoming Halo 3 Series 3 Action Figures range.
The new series of action figures comes out in August and includes exclusive colours of Spartan figures, only available from specific retailers.
