Discounts on Xbox spreading to the Middle East

Microsoft’s discount announcements are spreading across the world, with the latest area covered being the Middle East. From Friday, March 14th, recommended prices will drop an average of 350 UAE dirham.
Using the exact same script as the one used by Chris Lewis in relation to the European market, Armagan Demir, Head of Microsoft Entertainment and Devices Division Middle East said, “Xbox 360 is now mass market in the [Middle East]. We have reached and surpassed several key milestones that form part of our long term strategic plan to achieve critical mass in the [Middle East]; and our portfolio now offers the kind of mainstream entertainment experiences that secure wider appeal for Xbox 360. These factors allow us to execute on our strategy to widen the market for Xbox 360, as planned.”
