I was going to give you a list of the games coming up for Xbox in the coming year, but this video tells it so much better than I could.
One game that didn’t get a mention, or maybe I missed it, is Gears of War 2, which is expected in November.
Plus Konami has given in to constant harrassment from Xbox fanboys (or that’s what Hideo Kojima, the lead director claims) and finally decided to release Metal Gear Solid 4 for the Xbox. Whether it will be this year or early next isn’t clear. One up for fan pressure. It shows it’s worth pushing for what you want - they can only say “Yes!”

Last year, “three red lights” failure rates were reported to be as high as 33% of all new consoles. Three days ago, Electronics and appliances warranty company SquareTrade reports that the figure is 16.4% for RROD failures (60% of total problems), better, but still Not Good Enough.
Bill Gates is on record as wanting the Xbox 360 to be the “most reliable console” - well, sorry, Bill. Looks as if you have a fair way to go to achieve that. Xbox 360’s main rivals are much more reliable at around 3%. Halving failure rates looks impressive, for sure, but even now, RROD failures have to drop by 90% to have a hope of that goal being reached.
Xbox may provide the best playability, but what use is that if you’re forever waiting for The End?
