Microsoft claws back some cred

As reported on Last Minute Productions, the story of Nathaniel’s destroyed Xbox artwork and Bungie’s valiant efforts to recompense him (even though they had nothing to do with his loss) has gained a postscript.

Someone at Microsoft is obviously watching out for the company’s rep online, because MS has gone overboard to somehow make up for what it did. Go over to Last Minute to see the result: a brand new Xbox 360, with a brand new piece of original art by Luke McKay of Rooster Teeth and almost every inch of remaining space filled with signatures, not just from Bungie but also Microsoft staff – including the ‘great’ Bill Gates hisself.

Nathaniel himself, while happy with the way things have turned out, said what he really wanted is for Microsoft to put systems in place to make sure the same sort of thing never happened again.

You’ve gotta love the way Bungie takes care of its fans. It’s nice to know some companies cares about their fans. Can you really see Nintendo go out of its way for a devotee?
